Overview

TGC The Good Cause is a dermatology-inspired skincare brand built with dermatologists and a focus on Indian skin. Its website had to feel clinical and trustworthy without feeling cold.

We designed a quiet, editorial site with a deep olive and sage palette, generous white space, an elegant serif for headlines and a clean sans for body text. Each page leads with the science and the product, and every page ends in a simple way to get in touch.

01 · The brief

Make science feel calm, credible and easy to read

The audience is split between dermatologists who judge a brand on rigour and patients who want clear, honest information. The site needed to earn trust quickly, present five formulations clearly and give both groups an easy way to ask questions.

01

Earn clinical trust

Lead with philosophy, science-first language and dermatologist context before any product claims.

02

Show the products clearly

Give each of the five formulations a clean card with its name, purpose and a clear next step.

03

Explain, do not oversell

A Journal of long-form pieces helps patients and professionals understand skin health at their own pace.

04

Reflect Indian skin

A dedicated Designed with Indian skin in mind section and warm, human photography keep the brand relevant to its audience.

05

Make contact easy

A Contact Us button in the header, repeated through the pages, and a short enquiry form.

06

Stay calm and consistent

One restrained palette, one type system and a repeatable page layout across every screen.

02 · The design system

A restrained, editorial look for a clinical brand

The palette is drawn from the brand: a deep olive for weight, a soft sage for actions and light mist backgrounds for breathing room. Headlines use a high-contrast serif with italic accents, paired with a clean sans-serif for body text and small uppercase labels for structure.

03 · The design process

How we design a healthcare and skincare website

  1. 1

    Discovery and positioning

We start with who the brand is for and what it must be trusted for: dermatologists, patients and partners, and the claims the brand can stand behind.

    • Stakeholder interview
    • Audience mapping
    • Brand positioning
  2. 2

    Content structure

We plan the pages and the story order: philosophy, products, why the brand, vision, then contact. For a health brand, content is arranged so evidence comes before promotion.

    • Sitemap
    • Page outlines
    • Content hierarchy
  3. 3

    Wireframes

Low-fidelity layouts settle the structure, the product cards and the contact flow before any colour or imagery is chosen.

    • Homepage wireframe
    • Product grid
    • Contact flow
  4. 4

    Visual design

We build the palette, type system and components, then design the key pages with calm spacing, human photography and clean product shots.

    • Components
    • Desktop and mobile layouts
  5. 5

    Development

The design is built as a fast, responsive website with consistent navigation, an enquiry form and clean, accessible markup.

    • Enquiry form
    • Accessibility basics
  6. 6

    Testing and review

We test across browsers and devices, check every link and form, and review the copy for clear, careful wording.

    • Cross-device testing
    • Link and form checks
    • Copy review
  7. 7

    SEO, launch and support

We add page titles, descriptions and structured data, set up analytics, launch, and stay on hand for updates such as new products and Journal articles.
