Sugar & Pepper is a restaurant in Gurgaon. Vectographics designed its logo: the wordmark, the custom ampersand and the tagline lockup.
The name holds two opposite tastes, so the logo does too. SUGAR and PEPPER are set in a heavy, confident sans-serif for strong presence on a sign, while the ampersand and the tagline Where sweet meets savory are written in a friendly script for warmth.

Built on a grid, so every letter sits where it should.
We explored four wordmark directions, from bold and modern to dynamic and playful, then tested tagline styles and combinations. The final logo stacks SUGAR over PEPPER in a heavy sans-serif, offsets the lines for movement, and adds a custom script ampersand drawn inside a circle so it feels hand-made and friendly. The tagline sits underneath in an elegant script.

Two tastes, two voices
A heavy sans-serif carries the name with authority, and a flowing script carries the ampersand and tagline. Sweet and savory, shown in type.
A custom ampersand
The ampersand was drawn by hand and fitted inside a circle on the grid. It adds character and gives the logo a memorable detail.
Made for signs and menus
One terracotta colour and strong, simple letterforms keep the logo clear on a shop-front sign, a menu and a small social icon, on light or dark backgrounds.
