Website Redesign for Amptek India, a Battery Manufacturer in Gurgaon
From a crowded product catalogue to a clear, application-led website that explains what Amptek does.

Amptek is one of India's well-known rechargeable battery brands, made by Fusion Power Systems in Gurgaon. Its website had to speak to very different buyers at once: e-bike owners, inverter dealers, toy makers and industrial users.
The old site listed products in a long grid. The new one starts from how batteries are used, then leads each visitor to the right range, with trust signals, applications and articles placed where a buyer expects them.
Use the bar above to drag between the two versions, and scroll inside the screen to compare the full homepage.

A catalogue that made buyers do the work
These are screenshots of the previous website. Click any image to see it in full size.

Broken and missing images
Product thumbnails failed to load on the listing pages, which weakens trust at exactly the moment a buyer is comparing options.
Everything looked the same
Dozens of similar black battery photos in identical boxes, with no way to tell which range suits which use.
Mixed product ranges
Lithium, e-bike and industrial batteries sat together on one page, so visitors had to scan the whole grid to find their battery.
Little proof of expertise
The pages showed products, but not the experience, standards or R&D behind a brand with decades of history.
A dated look
Heavy serif headings, a 2023 footer and a crowded layout made a leading manufacturer feel smaller than it is.
No clear next step
Visitors reached a long list but had no obvious call to action to ask for a quote or talk to the team.
How we redesign a website, step by step
- 1
Discovery and goals
We start with the business: who buys, what they ask before they call, and what the website must do. For Amptek that meant serving consumers, dealers and industrial buyers on one site.
- Stakeholder interview
- Audience mapping
- Goals and KPIs
- 2
Audit of the old website
We review every page of the existing site for content gaps, broken assets, speed and search visibility, so we keep what works and fix what does not.
- Content inventory
- Broken image check
- SEO and speed review
- 3
Sitemap and wireframes
We restructure the navigation around how people shop. Products are grouped by application, then mapped into a sitemap and low-fidelity wireframes before any visual design.
- New sitemap
- Navigation by application
- Wireframes
- 4
Visual design
We keep the brand red and rebuild the look around it with a confident hero, a consistent image style, generous spacing and a typography system that reads well on a phone.
- Design direction
- Homepage and inner pages
- Mobile layouts
- 5
Content and photography
Headlines, short product stories and consistent imagery replace the old image dump, so every section explains why the product matters.
- Headlines and copy
- Image selection
- Icon set
- 6
Development and testing
The design is built as a fast, responsive website and tested across browsers and devices, with forms, links and images checked before launch.
- Responsive build
- Cross-device testing
- Form and link checks
- 7
SEO, launch and support
We add page titles, structured data and a sitemap, redirect old URLs where needed, launch, and stay on hand for fixes and updates.
- On-page SEO
- Redirects
- Launch and handover
Old site versus new site, area by area
- Homepage redesign
- Product and application pages
- Responsive layouts
- Blog setup
- Contact and enquiry forms
- On-page SEO
- Old URL redirects
How long does a website redesign take?
A business website like this typically takes four to eight weeks from discovery to launch, depending on the number of pages, how much content is ready and how quickly feedback comes back.
Will a redesign hurt my Google rankings?
Not if it is planned. We keep strong pages and URLs, redirect anything that changes, and add proper titles and structured data so rankings are protected and can improve.
Can you redesign a manufacturer or B2B website?
Yes. B2B sites need clear product ranges, proof of capability and an easy way to enquire. We design around those, as we did for Amptek.
Do you design websites for businesses in Gurgaon and Delhi NCR?
Yes. Vectographics is a Gurgaon branding and web design agency working with companies across Delhi NCR and India.
